I take a very documentary approach to photographing events - especially a once in a lifetime event such as your wedding. I float around quietly, documenting your day from every possible angle, capturing the beauty, the emotion, and the memories.
With few exceptions (such as Wedding Portraits), I don't believe in staging photos during an event. My philosophy is that a good photographer can create powerful images in almost any situation without interfering. In fact, the most powerful images are always the spontaneous photos that capture the raw emotion of the moment - there is no staging real life.
And my diverse photographic background means that your photos will be truly unique. With a combination of technical, theatrical and fine art photography experience, I am "seeing" each moment on several different levels. I bring a fresh perspective to wedding photography that you will not find anywhere else!
Pricing
Your wedding is a very unique and special event. Instead of fixed "packages" I provide a wide range of a la carte services from wedding albums to video.
The base investment for my wedding photography services starts at only $1,500. This includes a full day of photography (up to 8 hours), and an unlimited number of photos. You will receive a DVD with custom processed, high resolution Digital Masters of ALL of the photos from your day.
Since you will receive all of the Digital Masters on a disk, couples on a budget will find my service to be an amazing value, as you can then make your own albums and prints or whatever else your creative energies come up with. However, if you would prefer to have a professional wedding album(s) or unique custom prints made from your photos, I can customize the deliverables to suite almost any wish.
Additional Services
In addition to wedding photography, I also cover engagement parties, post-reception parties, or for that matter I can cover your entire wedding weekend, from rehearsals to next-day brunches and special gatherings. I am also a professional videographer and can provide high-definition video of your wedding, using the same documentary approach that I take with my still photos.
