Aerial Photography
Ken Stanek has spent the past 10 years traveling the country, photographing cityscapes and landscapes from helicopters and small planes. As a fixed-wing (small plane) pilot, Ken actually flies the plane while taking the photos (with a commercial safety pilot). Having complete control of the plane allows Ken to position the plane very precisely to achieve compositions that would otherwise be difficult if relying on another person.
